This legendary E24 BMW 528E is a 5 speed manual option delivered in Delphin Grey Metallic over less common Cardinal Red leather.

Paint shows nice finish with some very neat recent re-spray. Up close you will find a few minor impressions that don’t detract from overall appearance. All body panels are even and line up correct. All body panels contain original vin tag stamps.

This 5 series interior was delivered with the highly desirable Cardinal red leather. According to the previous ownership and receipts available the front seats were redone in matching leather to a very high standard showing excellent quality leather grain, piping and stitching. All door panels in matching red leather show excellent condition. Brand new BMW fitted grey Lloyd’s floor mats dress the interior grey carpeting. The original dashboard does show some wear and minor cracking. A BMW stock onboard computer is fully operational. An aftermarket AM/FM CD player is also operational.

A clean Carfax is available for review documenting it’s history. The service history on this vehicle is deep and trails all the way back to new purchase with unbroken-same family lifetime ownership. Within the last 3 years major servicing has been covered with all important components being tended to at local BMW expert independent shops in Northern California.

AC is fully operational and blows cold air. Optioned with 2-way sunroof. All power windows and locks.

The engine bay and trunk are extremely tidy.

Fastidious maintenance and care for the lifetime of ownership describe this vehicle. Make no mistake this E28 is an excellent driver experience especially with the wonderful manual 5-speed option. A delightful alternative to the standard automatic gear box. Final model year of the collectible 124 cabriolet.  This is a 1 family owned car since new.  Originally purchased in Southern California, it has always resided in West Los Angeles.  Serviced at Beverly Hills Mercedes Benz and other MB authorized service centers locally.  A clean CarFax is available for review.  Original issue California license plates.  Still titled on the rainbow California document.

Beautiful glossy paint in very nice condition smooth to touch.  Original MB glass.  The original black soft top is in pretty good shape for its age.  The automatic top goes up and down without issue at the press of a button.  A video is available to view.  

Original dashboard is perfect without cracks or damage.  Original grey leather seats are supple and strong showing some patina.  The wood finish on console still has nice deep color with a few cracks from age.  Nice carpet.  

Aftermarket Kenwood head unit with automatic pop out screen face with working hands free blue tooth-wireless, AM/FM, iPod and USB connect.

Very strong smooth acceleration and highly responsive without hesitation.  Extremely quiet powerful motor especially at highway speeds.

This beautiful fully documented 116 450SEL comes in period correct Milan Brown Metallic and was optioned without sunroof. Original leather seats are soft and supple showing in excellent condition with marginal use. The original dash-pad is perfect. Beautiful wood shows excellent condition. Perfect interior head liner. Door cards show minimal use. Upholstery has been very well preserved. Carpet shows no fading or damage. The vehicle’s interior is essentially a time capsule that’s been highly preserved parked indoors. Optioned with front seat heaters. Original First-Aid kit is untouched.

Paint shows deep, lustrous shine and is strong and bright.

Original MB glass all around in excellent condition. Very nice chrome.

Service history shows it has been fully documented since new purchase in the MB service booklet with dates, milage and service details.

Upon our acquisition we serviced the brakes including new master cylinder and brake pads. AC was serviced and blows cold air at correct fan speeds. All new belts. Fluid changes. Power steering belt. All new plugs along with proper adjustment and full tune. The vehicle undercarriage does not show any leaks at this time.

Drive quality is excellent. Shifting is crisp and correct. Steering does not have play or loose feel. Torque and acceleration are as Mercedes intended for this 116 sedan.

Mercedes 14 inch bundt style alloy wheels were restored to new condition. They wear brand new correctly sized Hankook tires.

Complete set of hand books / manuals, 2 keys including valet key. Original spare with new purchase hang tag, jack and Mercedes tool roll. Emergency triangle designated on trunk underside. Equipped with first-aid kit. Original data card.

Highly sought after true 350SL 107 German delivered (Non-USA) model featuring the 3.5L 116 higher compression motor. Still retains all original European features including rear kinder fold down seats, factory bumpers, flush-square headlamps and original side marker functioning blinkers.

Long term ownership by elderly lady in the Pacific Northwest. A garaged vehicle.

A sizable service was completed in May 2017.

Upon our acquisition the following items have been addressed: Gearbox reseal, power steering pump reseal and new valve cover gaskets installed. Additionally an oil leak has been addressed.

The original dash pad shows no cracks or damage. Excellent condition black MB Tex vinyl seats showing no tears, rips or damage. Nice black loop carpet throughout. Very clean cabin in well preserved condition.

A few options on this Non-USA example include hand crank windows and no Air Conditioner.

Yellow paint shows bright shine and luster smooth to touch. It’s evident a decent re-spray was completed in the original factory color. A few minor blemishes can be found upon close inspection. Wonderful period correct color with handsome Euro features. All original MB sekurit glass around.

Purchased new at Gregg Motors Mercedes-Benz Santa Barbara and stayed local with single family ownership until our recent acquisition from their estate. A garaged California gem in beautiful condition. The owner was an engineer who took care of this wonderful 300SE model with meticulous care. Hard to find these 126 sedans in this well preserved condition. Still wearing the original California issue license plates.

We have a clean Carfax as well as a clean AutoCheck by Experian Report. Both documents detail multiple entries including dates, services, emissions inspections and mileage markers from new.

Paint shows shows glossy and shines bright. The Arctic White paint is largely original. All original matching factory vin tags untouched on every body panel.

Perfect original dash-pad. The interior shows negligible wear and has been incredibly well preserved. The original grey leather is still soft to touch without damage, tears or rips. The rear seat shows virtually no usage. Carpet shows excellent throughout cabin. Zebrano wood console and dash trim, door trim all around look excellent still showing deep color and hi-gloss. Headliner is perfect. Rear area behind back seat shows zero wear or sun fade. Untouched original First Aid-Kit still in original bag in rear compartment. Multi-direction power seat adjust front seats all working. Visors show little use with vanity mirror flip/light switch that activates immediately.

All gauges working properly. Instrument cluster needles still show of bright orange color. Original Becker Grand Prix with Cassette player works great and has incredible factory sound system set-up.

Incredible drive quality on this sedan with the M103 hi-revving inline six cylinder motor. The meticulous care it received through the years is quite rewarding for the driver on this lighter SE model. Steady yet strong acceleration, good sensitive braking, excellent shift quality at correct ratios, tight steering and a suspension that feels very supple and comfortable on this highly engineered vehicle. An absolute pleasure to drive at highway speeds or cruising city streets.

Engine bay is extremely tidy. Impressively clean undercarriage as one would expect for a garaged vehicle kept in ideal California climate. Original MB exhaust heat shield shows no corrosion. Factory paint markings still visible as well as factory applied cosmoline. There are no leaks to note. Undercarriage pics available on request.

Upon our acquisition we had all (4) factory 15 inch alloy wheels reconditioned to like new They wear Bridgestone tires with good rubber and tread.

Upon acquisition we serviced the AC that has already been converted to 134 freon. Air blows cold on both fan speeds correctly.

Electric sunroof with multi-directional adjust.

Full handbooks with vehicle from new purchase all present. Original spare with hang tag, jack and complete MB tool roll. Multiple factory key fobs.

All original glass and chrome in excellent condition. Original dash pad is free of cracks and shows perfect condition. Zebrano wood shows nice glossy finish with darker color center consul and trim on dashboard. Original Becker Mexico AM/FM Cassette in good working condition. Hirschman Antennae goes up and down without issue. A kinder rear seat was installed in matching grey color with 2 safety belts. Most rest of world cars were optioned with this set up.

Excellent drive quality as one would anticipate Mercedes engineering to feel at this lower mileage. The vehicle has impressive acceleration at all speeds, good steering, excellent shift quality and a firm suspension. It just feels correct and well maintained.

The blue original factory soft top is in very good shape. Comes with matching hard top in excellent condition with like new looking interior headliner, excellent chrome and MB glass.

Factory alloy 14 inch bundt wheels in nice condition wear an older set of Michelin tires with plenty of tread.
