An excellent example of preservation and originality on this final model year 1989 635CSI. The last ownership was local in the affluent Southern California city of Rancho Mirage. The last steward travelled between 2 residences in Washington and California where this E24 lived a charmed life. A clean Carfax is available for review.

The original factory paint has a bright deep shine and soft to touch feel. All chrome, trim and rubber present excellent. A few minor scuffs can be found but do not in any way detract from the overall condition and would be expected with age. Trunk bolts are untouched. Even factory lines and gap space on body. Every panel has its original vin tag affixed.

This specimen has an original dashpad in flawless condition. Several recent service records indicate no expense was spared keeping up with preventative and regular mechanicals. BMW leather shows very nice and soft without tears or damage and correct patina. The original carpet is in excellent condition and the door cards and panels have been well preserved. 2 way power sunroof opens and closes with ease. Equipped with its original anti-theft radio in good working condition with nice sound.

Drive quality is excellent as one would expect for a well serviced BMW. The gearbox shifts effortlessly and smooth while acceleration is strong and full at all speeds. Steering feels tight and comfortable. Braking system is excellent without any pull or sway with 80% brake pads left.

All 4 tires are correctly sized Michelin TRX over BMW factory alloys in excellent shape.

Comes with 2 original key fobs, BMW manual, radio code cards, original spare, jack and air compressor. Also equipped with BMW factory tool kit in perfect shape resting in plastic fold out try attached to inside trunk liner.

An exceptional example that was originally purchased in Northern California by Robert Miller Photography, its first owner, and lovingly cared for until 2014 when it changed hands. We have the original invoice and original window sticker. We are impressed at the condition and preservation on this vehicle and you will be hard pressed to find an equal.

The Signal Red paint shows very nice deep shine and luster. The chrome, rubber and trim look excellent. A matching hard top with high quality original headliner and superb glass and trim included.

The original issue Mercedes Wopavin black soft is in perfect condition as evidenced by its sparse usage and careful storage in the spotless convertible top compartment.

Exceptional interior with a flawless original dashpad. The instrument cluster markings and bright orange needles could easily rival vehicles with 1/2 the mileage. Original black leather upholstery still holds it’s supple look and feel and has a soft touch evidencing no dye or sun damage. Zebrano wood looks new with deep color and flawless lacquer finish free of blemishes or cracking. Carpets are perfect with even black color. Door cards do not show multiple heat and cold cycles on the trim. Equipped with an original AM/FM Becker cassette radio still in good working condition.

Undercarriage looks exactly how one would expect an extremely well preserved California Mercedes to look – clean and free of corrosion.

Sold new to Mr. Robert Langham of Kingwood, Texas on 2/17/78. A very nice example, this final generation 450SL 107 has recently gone through a major service. The previoius owner spared no expense upon their acquisition servicing any deferred and regular maintenance needs accordingly in 2019. Records available.

Interior shows excellent condition Leather seats look new having been preserved and covered by sheep skins for many years and steel feel soft and have mostly supple build. Original dashpad has minor crack near center. Carpet is in decent condition. Door cards look excellent. Wood consul does show some minor cracking. An aftermarket Alpine radio has been installed with cassette player. The original Becker has been ratained and this model was optioned with a cassette player in the glove box.

Paint shows very nice deep shine with excellent strong clear coat. A very high quality repaint was completed at some point in the factory color Silver Green Metallic (DB-861). All original glass, good chrome work, nice rubber and trim around car.

The brown canvas soft top appears to be a replacement in excellent condition.

Motor runs strong, gear box shifts effortlessly and acceleration feels very good. We replaced some fuel hoses and installed a new fuel accumulator. The AC blows cold. Everything is currently working and operating as it should.

All factory handbooks, original (first owner sold to) metal plate and data card are present. The MB Service booklet shows services with dates, mileage and services completed. Spare tire, jack, tool roll and original convertible tools all accounted for.

560SL

Wonderful example that lived most of its life on the west coast sold new at Don Rasmussen Mercedes-Benz Portland, Oregon.

An Astral Silver exterior factory color shows excellent condition and mirror shine. All glass, brightwork and rubber look great. Every original factory VIN Tag match and are in place.

A wonderful rich colorful medium red interior highlights this 107. The original dash pad is flawless. Original medium red leather upholstery is still soft to touch and shows in very nice condition. Wood consul and trim show nice condition and darker color. Door cards show excellent, carpet is vibrant and full, and new black floor mats were recently purchased. The original factory Becker AM/FM Cassette player was just refurbished. All buttons and settings work. We can modify with an Auxiliary cord or Bluetooth should the next owner desire.

We are keen on driving this superb example 560SL that has been recently updated with a new brake master cylinder, fresh brake fluid flush, new windshield wiper inserts, wiper fluid nozzle replacement and restored Becker radio. With an excellent running motor this specimen shifts crisp, accelerates with great torque, brakes easily, steers as intended and behaves very well on the road.

Comes with an original matching hardtop with excellent preserved headliner and medium red matching trim. The black replacement GAHH soft top shows nice condition with clear plastic glass.

Completely restored 15 inch Gullideckel alloy wheels have been installed with new lug bolts and Mercedes-Benz original wheel caps. An outstanding final touch that dresses this color scheme identically to the 1987 MB catalogue model.

This Northern California original 450SL recently came out of its unbroken one family 44 year ownership. Most recently it was passed from mother to daughter.

Comes with color keyed hardtop. The brown canvas top appears to be a replacement in excellent shape with vibrant color showing no rips, tears or fraying.

The paint shows excellent preservation and appears mostly original. This rare color, Cayenne Orange has a deep bright shine and mirror like appearance with the single stage paint Mercedes executed in the 70s era. All body panels and shut lines are even and correct.

The original dash pad has a few small cracks. Parchment MB Tex upholstery is in presentable condition and has supple shape with only minor nicks and expected wear. Door cards are clean and crisp. Loop carpet is original in nice shape. An aftermarket radio and antennae were installed by prior owner. Original first-aid kit stowed in rear area.

Excellent drive quality. Nice torquey even acceleration. Smooth shifting all the way through the factory 3 speed transmission. Good supple suspension feel. Steering tracks even and straight. Solid responsive braking. Having visually inspected the underside there are no fluid leaks to note.

AC service completed upon acquisition. The 134 freon blows cold and correct on all fan speeds.

Matching steel wheels wear new correctly sized tires.

Subframe update has been completed.

Previous ownership history, unfortunately, was not retained because it was misplaced during a recent residential move. We have all service records of work done since our acquisition. Available for review.

Delivered new to Don McGill Imports-Porsche in Houston, Texas where it was originally purchased. The original window sticker has been retained. This 944S2 example is fully documented from day 1 with an extensive amount of service history on hand. These S2 models were delivered with low production numbers and have become sought after having the desirable Turbo look coachwork and 3.0L motors.

Optioned with sport seats with/electric height adjustment. Very nice clean carpet. Original dashpad is in excellent condition. An aftermarket JVC head unit was installed by prior ownership. This wonderful 420SEL was delivered in a less common color scheme of Nautical Blue over Blue Leather. Recently acquired from a multi car collection located on a farm outside Lexington, Kentucky.

An excellent example final year 107 USA 380SL lifetime Northern California owned Mercedes. A clean Carfax shows plenty of service history and mileage documentation from new.

Nautical Blue paint is original and shows excellent depth and shine. Light checking as is not uncommon with age can be seen in a few areas upon closer inspection. There are a few scratches visible. Body is as straight as you will see with perfect lines and correct factory body panel fitment. Good chrome and all original MB glass.

We just installed brand new OEM Mercedes Leather seats, head rests and arm rest. High quality leather grain and texture with correct piping, stitching and perforations. Carpet shows light wear. Door cards are in good condition. Dashboard cover replacement is black. Wood trim has nice color with some patina. Equipped with a working aftermarket head unit that runs correctly through front speakers. Still retains original issue MB polyglas blue canvas top. While sparsely used and showing nice condition – there are a few minor splits near rear window and top. A replacement top can be acquired at our cost if new owner desires.

Our review of mechanical and driving condition: One of the better 380SL’s we have driven. There is zero hesitation or rough idle. Very strong through all the gears shifting smooth and correctly. Vehicle behaves nicely on the road without any pull or sway. A wonderful last year model 380 with tight steering and very comfortable suspension. Brakes with nice stopping power fairly effortlessly. Starts right up every time. Does not appear to have any leak issues at this time. A recent oil change was performed. and Just completed California emissions.

Tidy engine bay compartment. Ultra clean trunk and spare wheel area. Undercarriage reflects correct California hygiene without any corrosion issues.

We just had all 4 bundt style alloys restored to original factory condition. They received brand new Febi Billstein lug bolts and wear 14 inch Michelin correctly sized tires that show good tread.

AC is still original R12 factory equipment and blows cold air correctly on all fan speeds.

Nice paint showing good depth and gloss.

Bright orange gauge markings and needles. Original dash-pad with no cracks. Beautiful wood finish showing deep cherry wood color and no cracks. Lovely supple original upholstery with minimal patina for age. The cream leather is still soft to touch. Excellent carpet throughout interior. Equipped with original Becker stock radio.

Original issue MB Polyglas soft top is in remarkable condition. We’d guess it has been up a handful of times. The preservation of it including canvas, plastic glass, rear storage area and metal on the inside frame is outstanding.
