Gorgeous Manganese Brown Metallic paint shows deep luster and shine. Still wearing its original factory slim bumpers and European market Bosch headlamps. Nice brightwork. All original MB glass.

Highly preserved original interior with beige leather and light carpet with matching door cards. Original dashpad shows a few minor cracks. Zebrano wood is beautiful showing light wear. Bright red crisp seatbelt fasteners. Overall the interior shows negligible UV exposure. The dark brown soft top shows a few tears.

Well maintained motor operates properly. The 110 European motor was given more HP than the stateside 6 cylinder North American delivered cars. When paired with a 5 speed manual it’s set up right for the discerning driving enthusiast. Having been imported into Los Angeles in 1985 the vehicle went through USA federalization process (documentation included) and appears to have also passed through USEPA standards with smog equipment and USA emissions stickers appointed inside the driver door jamb.

Complete original factory handbooks and manuals. Original jack and spare. Factory emergency triangle and tool roll. MB First-Aid kit. Completed extensive service history from new.

Imported into USA when purchased new in 1985 from Germany.

Federalized into the USA upon new purchase. Brought to California by last ownership where it was upgraded with California emissions equipment and lab tested for smog compliance (retains CA BAR sticker inside door jamb). A major advantage for potential CA ownership as it can be registered in the most stringent state for emissions standards in the world.

Gorgeous paint with excellent depth and luster.

The black leather interior is in excellent condition. Beautiful original carpet throughout and and the door cards present well. Original dashpad in excellent shape. The wood trim, consul and control panel all show deep color and nice preservation. Hardtop headliner and trim is excellent. Original MB Rhenoglas shows great condition.

The drive quality is superb. The 110 Mercedes 6 cylinder motor Euro version has great hi revving vibes. It is lighter and more nimble than its V8 counterpart plus gas mileage is superior.

You will find the engine by to be extremely tidy and the trunk equal as such.

Original R12 AC blows blows cold and correct on all speeds as it was serviced upon acquisition.

We had the original factory alloy bundt wheels reconditioned back to new. Wearing correctly sized tires with excellent tread and rubber.

Comes with original handbooks and MB service booklet with stamps, dates of service and mileage entries, original spare, tool roll, jack, emergency triangle and MB first-aid kit.

Rare European German delivery 280SL 107 with manual 4 speed transmission. Imported into USA in mid 1980s with deep documentation from original customs / USA federalization. Retains slim factory bumpers. Headlamps were changed to USA quads upon import federalization. Original MB glass all around. Nice chrome.

Original order to Wuerzburg Branch.

Original dash-pad shows no cracks in excellent condition. Aftermarket head unit by Sony was installed some time ago and works quite presentably. Blue carpet in nice preserved condition. Hard top included. Hard top headliner in good condition. Blue soft top has vibrant color and shows excellent condition, very clean and snug fitting. Seatbelt fasteners are red not faded. Very clean condition matching door cards. Equipped with rear factory seats and seatbelts with fold down option. Rear fold down seat original leather shows age with some cracking.

Strong hi revving more powerful 2.8L Euro 6 cylinder 110 motor. Wonderful driving experience with 4 speed manual true driver’s control. Cannot emphasize enough about the 280 107 model – the manual versions on the 280SL lighter cars are the business. Refreshed new steering tie rods on both sides. Fresh fluids were done prior to our acquisition. Newer exhaust system sounds lovely/proper.

15 hole light alloy rims over excellent condition tires.

This vehicle is not set up to pass California emissions. It will be sold outside California or exported outside of USA.

Documentation from European import to USA. Service records from prior ownership trail all the way back with a thick file full of history.

Comes with original spare tire, jack and tool roll wrap. 2 original Huff keys and convertible tools.
