1978 Mercedes Benz 450SL – SOLD

Major services done with records including preventative and regular maintenance such as timing chain, tensioner, rails, plugs, cap, rotor and the list goes on. Recently had the AC serviced and fully recharged. AC Conversion already done to 134a and it really blows strong and ICE COLD!

Motor runs strong and shifts smooth. The previous 3 owners took care of the vehicle and it shows as it was garaged and covered. There is no rust on this vehicle and the undercarriage is very clean and dry. Original MBZ factory 14 inch alloy wheels non chrome in very nice condition not showing scratches or curb rash. 1987 Mercedes Benz 560SL – SOLD

Exterior Color: Petrol Blue Green (DB-877)

This is a rare period correct color that stands apart from the usual MB color hues. Paint condition is excellent as the car has always been garaged and well preserved. The interior has very nice cream beige factory leather seating showing no tears or rips. There is no sagging or separations happening from age. The dashboard is original and presents well showing just a few minor cracks. All of the carpet is in very good condition and does not show age or sun damage and has just been completely steam cleaned. All door panel upholstery are in tact without rips or tears.

All brightwork, rubber and moldings present well and are properly in place. The paint depth overall is very consistent and even. All body panels, corners and lines are consistent with factory settings showing no signs of accidents. The factory vin tags are still in place on body panels throughout the car. The 15 inch factory chrome wheels have no peeling or pitting and look very nice on Michelin tires. Soft top is black canvas with no rips or tears in very nice condition was replaced 4 years ago.

Having been properly serviced the motor drives powerful and shifts smoothly through the gears. The AC is sorted and blows ice cold with a 134A system that’s been fully refilled. The original Becker Grand Prix AM/FM Stereo Cassette player is all there. This vehicle has also been added with a Satellite Radio system.

The car spent its early years in California and more recently in the Southwestern US and shows absolutely no rust anywhere. We have a clean car fax showing no issues. The certificate of title has “Actual Miles” boxed. Service records available. Comes with factory Huff keys, original books, manuals, service book history, tool roll, spare tire and bonus hard top holder.

1987 Mercedes Benz 560SL – SOLD

An exceptional 1987 Mercedes 560SL in every way, this young classic is a gem!
Production Date stamped on driver door jam 02/87.

Having been kept away from elements such as sun and weather for many years garaged and cared for this vehicle has been incredibly well preserved. You will not find fading on the wood, leather, carpet, and soft top that you’d normally see with most SL’s of this age. No signs of dirt, leaves and outdoor elements in the nooks and crevices of the vehicle that would hint at outdoor parking neglect through the years. The seats do not have sagging or unstitching from age or wear. Carpet and wood show very well without defects, damage or aging. Steering wheel leather looks new (it has a cover protecting the wheel that’s removable). The dashboard is original and completely crack free. Clean gauge faces and oranger color needles that haven’t had major sun damage.

There are matching vin tags on every body panel original from factory. There are no bolts loosened or replaced and there is no indication of any damage to the body panels or respray on this vehicle. The paint shows an incredible high gloss and is the original factory finish. Correct factory shut lines and panel gaps. There is a beautiful pin striping adding a gorgeous highlight that must be seen in person to appreciate. The original factory wheels have been properly restored to look as new and fresh as they did on the show room floor. A brand new set of 4 tires have just been installed. Original windshield w/factory decals in place and all hardtop glass is original with stamps. The chrome, rubber and glass all show in beautiful condition. The vehicle is completely rust free.

The car starts immediately and drives remarkably. Excellent power – Proper shift quality – Behaves on the road as MBZ intended. Steering and suspension are tight and responsive while shifting smoothly through the gears. It truly is an exquisite car to drive. The AC unit is not completely sorted and we are currently trouble shooting the issue.
